San Vincenzo
is one of the best equipped tourist centres of the Etruscan coast;
the splendid beach, bordered by dense pinewoods and thick Mediterranean
scrub, with its fine, gold sand, stretches for many Kilometres.
In the centre you can find refined shops, open till late; and also
many opportunities for entertainment and leisure in the various
night spots: here you can taste different typical products and sip
the excellent wines D.O.C. Val di Cornia.
In San Vincenzo there are many opportunities for trips by foot or
by bicycle in the nature, like alternative to swimming on the beach.
An example, the wonderful pine-woods of the Natural Parks of Val
di Cornia; the San Silvestro Archeological-Mineral Park –
a splendid open-air museum – which tells the fascinating story
of how metal was worked from Etruscan times on; The Caldana Hot
Springs at Venturina, already known in Etruscan and Roman times.
Not to forget a visit to Massa Marittima, Suvereto, Castagneto Carducci.
And also Siena, Volterra, Pisa, from 10 to 90 Km far away.
